Welcome to the Official Website for the Bryn Mawr Fire Company


Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 600 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.

Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Vehicle Rescue - Montgomery Avenue

At approximately 15:27 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched for a vehicle rescue on Montgomery Avenue in the area of the Blue Route underpass. Upon arrival it was confirmed that a two vehicle accident resulted in one of the drivers confined in his vehicle. Crews from Bryn Mawr extricated the driver and turned him over to Narberth Ambulance. Single Family Dwelling Old Lancaster Road

At 11:41am Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to a working house fire at 909 Old Lancaster Road in the Bryn Mawr section. Chief 23 arrived and reported heavy fire showing from the second floor with a possibility of a person trapped. The person reported trapped was found to already be out of the dwelling. Working Fire at Radnor Mansion

On Wednesday, July 9th at 16:49, members of Bryn Mawr Fire Company joined forces with several other companies from Montgomery and Delaware counties to battle a working fire at a mansion at 200 Wyndom Lane in Radnor Township. Crews worked for over two hours bringing the fire under control. The homeowner was injured and transported by EMS to the hospital. Bryn Mawr was available at 19:59.... (Full Story & Photos)

Presenting all three trucks and a sharp group in the line of march Bryn Mawr put forward a first class effort.
