Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 600 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.


Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Bryn Mawr Fire Company Congratulates its Members of the Villanova Class of 2016

On Saturday, May 14th 2016 three members of Bryn Mawr Fire Company accepted diplomas as part of their commencement ceremony at Villanova University. As student members of the fire company, these three gentlemen not only completed their degrees, but also their training to become active firefighters. Bryn Mawr Fire Company Participating in the Villanova National Championship Parade

Following Bryn Mawr's participation in securing the Villanova Campus during and after the NCAA Men's Basketball National Championship game, BMFC was invited to participate in the victory parade through Philadelphia. House Fire Panorama Road

At approximately 23:31 on 2/24/16 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to 783 Panorama Road for a building fire. It was initially reported to be a chimney fire, but a second call reported a house fire. First in reports confirmed a working fire. Vehicle Fire Response to Help Fellow Firefighters

At approximately 19:26 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to a vehicle fire on Spring Mill Road between Farview Rd and Spring Mill Lane. We were quickly informed that is was Gladwyne Fire Company's Engine 24 that was on fire. Vehicle Rescue on Bryn Mawr Avenue

Early on December 2, 2015, around 1:30am, Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched for a vehicle rescue on Bryn Mawr Avenue. Chief 23 arrived on scene reporting a single vehicle into a tree with the driver trapped. Crews worked to free the driver by removing the doors and roof of the car and then performing a partial dash roll. In less than 20 minutes the rescue was complete and Station 23 was back ...
