Located at 901 W. Lancaster Avenue in the heart of Bryn Mawr, the Bryn Mawr Firehouse is home to Ladder 23, Engine 23, and Squad 23. For over 100 years our volunteers have served Lower Merion and Radnor Township residents in their times of need. This year our 3 fulltime Engineers, 5 officers and more than 30 Hosemen will respond approximately 700 calls including Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarms, Motor Vehicle Accidents, Motor Vehicle Fires, Wires Down, Utility Standby, EMS Assist, Major Medical Emergencies, Helicopter Landing Zone setups, and many more.

Built on a foundation of tradition, training, family, and community service, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company proudly serves its Delaware and Montgomery County residents. At Bryn Mawr we pride ourselves on maintaining our traditions and level of service from the past while constantly working to remain ahead of the times and at the top of our game. Led by Danny Kincade, only the 10th chief in our over 100 year history, the Bryn Mawr Fire Company's volunteers are here to serve you and your family 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Congratulations Captain Chris Murtaugh

Bryn Mawr Fire Company congratulates former member Chris Murtaugh on his promotion to Captain in the Philadelphia Fire Department. Chris was a long-time member of Bryn Mawr Fire Company and a former Assistant Chief. One of three Murtaugh brothers in the fire company in the 90s and early 2000s, Chris moved on from his time at Bryn Mawr to pursue a career in Philadelphia.

No Caption Working Fire on Summit Terrace

At approximate 7:45 Bryn Mawr Fire Company was dispatched to 155 Summit Terrace for a building fire on the second floor. Initial reports of entrapment turned out to be false and Assistant 23-1 arrived on location reporting a working fire with heavy fire from the second floor. Today marked the end of an era for Bryn Mawr Fire Company's current Ladder 23. A Rosenbauer quint with a 100' aerial ladder, 500 gallon tank and a crew cab for 6, Ladder 23 is a critical piece of the firefighting arsenal at Bryn Mawr Fire Company. Vehicle Accident - Craig Lane & Old Gulph

On April 26th at approximately 1pm, Bryn Mawr was dispatched to the intersection of Craig Lane and Old Gulph Road for a reported vehicle rescue. While enroute on scene personnel informed that there was not a rescue, but there was a car into a tree and that EMS needed assistance with patient removal.
